MTN Scholarships, under the
Youth Development Cause, is a yearly Scholarship award that seeks to recognize
and reward qualified high performing students in Nigerian Public Universities.
It is currently in its 12th year (this year), and is open to
eligible 300 level students studying Science & Technology-related courses,
in Nigerian Tertiary Institutions (including Universities, Polytechnics, and
Colleges of Education).
Every year, 300 successful students are awarded scholarships worth N200,000 each annually till they graduate – provided they maintain the required Cummulative Grade Point Average in School.
MTN Foundation Scholarship Eligibility:
- Candidates
must be full-time 300 Level Undergraduates in public Universities,
Colleges of Education or Polytechnics in Nigeria.
- Applicants
from Universities and Colleges of Education must have a minimum Cumulative
Grade Point Average (CGPA) score of 3.5, or its equivalent (2.1).
- Applicants
from Polytechnics must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 (upper credit) and proof
of admission to the HND or Direct Entry Program.
- Current
recipients of other scholarship awards are ineligible to apply.
- Applicants must be proficient in English language.

Deadline For MTN Scholarship 2022:
The management of
the MTN Foundation Scholarship has announced 15th August 2022 as
the latest closing date/deadline.
All qualified and interested applicants are to take
